Basic Structure (Three Key Structural Assemblies)

Turbine End (Exhaust Side Assembly)Joined to the exhaust manifold, it receives 600–900 ℃ hot exhaust gas that propels the turbine wheel, rotating the central shaft at 100,000–200,000 rpm.

Compressor End (Intake Side Assembly)Coaxially powered, the compressor impeller compresses air cleaned by the air filter and sends pressurized air into engine cylinders.
