A10VO45 A10V045 A10VO45DFR1 Hydraulic Variable Displacement Piston Pump KP10VO28R RA0001 Series for Construction Machinery Parts
As the indispensable core power component of excavator hydraulic systems, the main hydraulic pump obtains driving torque from the engine to convert mechanical kinetic energy into high-pressure hydraulic energy. It supplies pressurized hydraulic medium to hydraulic motors, actuating the full spectrum of working movements for excavator machinery. Axial variable piston pumps are the standard configuration for engineering construction excavators of most specifications. Mid-size and large excavators adopt an integrated dual main pump framework matched with a rear-mounted pilot gear pump assembly. Two independent high-pressure oil supply loops deliver hydraulic fluid to the main control valve, enabling coordinated compound operations with a rated working pressure span of 28MPa to 35MPa. Fitted to the machine’s rear end, the low-pressure pilot pump operates at a steady 3–4MPa with low flow output, providing calibrated pilot pressure oil for control handle manipulation and main valve core regulation. Piston assemblies fixed on the cylinder block and pump casing rotate cyclically with the main shaft, finishing sequential oil suction and pressure buildup procedures. Tuning the swash plate tilt angle adjusts piston stroke length, thereby modifying the pump’s displacement parameter. An external servo regulating unit controls swash plate positional changes in response to hydraulic feedback signals. Increasing the swash plate inclination enhances fluid flow volume and operational response speed, while decreasing it reduces fuel consumption and avoids unexpected engine shutdown. The valve plate partitions low-pressure oil intake channels and high-pressure discharge channels to achieve uniform hydraulic fluid distribution. Three specialized control functions are embedded in the pump to guarantee reliable field operation. Constant power control automatically lowers pump displacement under elevated load pressure, safeguarding engine stability and improving power utilization efficiency. The LS load-sensing system provides adaptive fluid flow matching actual working loads and maintains low idle displacement to minimize fuel waste. The HP pressure limiting mechanism limits pump displacement at peak pressure thresholds, protecting hydraulic pipelines and oil cylinders from rupture and fatigue damage. Frequent equipment defects include internal leakage caused by piston wear, valve plate breakage or regulator blockage, leading to slow operational speed and deficient power output. A jammed maximum-displacement regulator results in engine overload, black exhaust smoke and stalling during heavy-load construction work. Excessive internal oil seepage converts pressure loss into heat energy, causing abnormal temperature rises in hydraulic fluid. Hydraulic system air entry, insufficient oil volume and faulty bearings or pistons produce unusual mechanical operating noise. Routine daily upkeep requires periodic renewal of hydraulic oil and filter elements to prevent abrasion of precision internal pump components. Maintaining excellent tightness of oil suction pipelines prevents air ingestion and machine vibration, and retaining standard hydraulic fluid levels sustains stable pump operational performance.
