I. Product Features

• Material: Mainly cast iron and cast aluminum, with plastic versions for selection.
• Shape: Compact disc‑like or cup‑shaped part with threaded or clip‑on design, diameter 20–40 mm.
• Installation Site: Located on the side or bottom face of the main distribution valve, close to the spool end cap and oil‑drain port.

Functions

• Guards the drain pin. Featuring a tiny bore, the drain plug releases trapped water, dirt and air inside the valve. The outer cover stops mud, grit, rocks and metal particles from blocking the orifice or causing spool sticking.
• Mitigates leakage and accidental contact risks. Intense vibration occurs during excavator operation. The cover secures the drain plug firmly against loosening, preventing hydraulic oil escape, pressure drop and insufficient working power.
• Delivers dust‑proof and anti‑rust performance. Muddy water and dust dominate construction environments. The cover shields threads and sealing areas from moisture and impurities, avoiding rust sticking and difficult disassembly in later maintenance.

Daily Maintenance & Replacement

• Inspection: Examine cover tightness, fractures and oil seepage during each maintenance period.
• Maintenance: Remove mud and deposits around the cover and tighten it reliably.
• Replacement: Promptly replace damaged covers with cracks, worn threads or failed sealing. Though cheap, it is critical; neglect leads to valve interior contamination and machine failures.
