I. Product Features

• Material: Primarily cast iron or cast aluminum; plastic‑made covers are also available.
• Shape: Small disc or cup‑shaped structure, either threaded or snap‑connected, with a diameter of 20 to 40 mm.
• Mounting Position: Placed on the side or bottom of the main distribution valve, beside the spool end cover and oil‑drain outlet.

Functions

• Shields the drain plug from damage. The drain plug contains a micro‑orifice for draining accumulated water, impurities and air inside the valve body. The outer cover blocks soil, sand, stones and iron scraps from clogging the small hole or locking the spool.
• Prevents oil leakage and unintended touching. Excavators undergo heavy vibration while working. The cover tightly compresses the drain plug to stop loosening, thus avoiding hydraulic oil leakage, system pressure loss and weak operational force.
• Realizes dust‑proof and anti‑corrosion protection. Construction sites are exposed to muddy water and dust. The cover isolates moisture and contaminants, protecting threads and sealing surfaces from rust seizure and maintenance‑related disassembly issues.

Daily Maintenance & Replacement

• Inspection: Check the cover for looseness, cracks and oil leakage in every routine maintenance step.
• Maintenance: Clean sediment and mud surrounding the cover and fasten it tightly.
• Replacement: Timely renew cracked, thread‑stripped or poorly sealed covers. Low‑cost but essential; delayed replacement causes internal valve pollution and working malfunctions.
