I. Product Features

• Material: Main materials are cast iron and cast aluminum, while plastic alternatives are also offered.
• Shape: Mini disc or cup‑style component with threaded or clip‑on connection, diameter roughly 20‑40 mm.
• Installation Area: Fixed to the side or bottom of the main multi‑way valve, near the spool end cover and oil‑drain port.

Functions

• Protects the drain pin. The drain plug has a tiny opening to release pooled water, grime and internal air. The outer cover prevents earth, sand, gravel and metal shavings from plugging the hole or jamming the valve spool.
• Avoids leakage and accidental contact hazards. Severe vibration is generated during excavator operation. The cover holds the drain plug securely against loosening, preventing hydraulic oil loss, pressure decline and underpowered machine performance.
• Resists dust and corrosion. Mud and dust prevail at job sites. The cover insulates threads and sealing surfaces from moisture and dirt, preventing rust adhesion and difficult disassembly during maintenance work.

Daily Maintenance & Replacement

• Inspection: Inspect the cover for slackness, breakage and oil seepage during each maintenance session.
• Maintenance: Clear mud and residues around the cover and tighten it properly.
• Replacement: Immediately replace covers with cracks, worn threads or poor sealing. Inexpensive but vital; failure to replace results in valve contamination and functional breakdowns.
