Restrain all piston shoes and prevent them from separating from the swash plate. During high‑speed rotation of the cylinder block under high pressure impact, the spring pushes the cylinder block to press the piston shoes against the inclined surface of the swash plate. The set plate encircles the tails of all piston shoes to restrict them from flying outward, ensuring the piston shoes constantly fit the friction surface of the swash plate and maintain the oil film.

Distribute force evenly and enable piston shoes to follow the swash plate angle synchronously. All piston shoes are uniformly limited to maintain consistent inclination angles, enabling even reciprocating motion of pistons, and reducing flow pulsation and abnormal noise.

Assist in forming the hydrostatic support oil film for piston shoes. Oil grooves are machined on the plate body to guide high‑pressure oil from pistons to the bottom surface of piston shoes, forming a hydrostatic oil film and mitigating wear between piston shoes and the swash plate.
