Hold the pistons
Multiple cylinder bores are evenly distributed on the cylinder block to mount the pistons. The cylinder block rotates together with the drive shaft, driving the pistons to perform reciprocating extension and retraction for oil suction and oil discharge.

Change of enclosed volume to realize hydraulic energy conversion
With the swash plate fixed at a set angle, the cylinder block rotates → pistons extend / retract inside the cylinder bores:
Piston extension: cylinder bore volume increases → oil suction
Piston retraction: cylinder bore volume decreases → oil discharge
Mechanical energy is converted into pressure energy of hydraulic oil.

Distribute oil in cooperation with the valve plate
The end face of the cylinder block closely contacts the valve plate. As the cylinder block rotates, the cylinder bores align sequentially with the suction and pressure ports of the valve plate, automatically switching the oil circuit to ensure continuous high-pressure oil output.

Transmit torque
The cylinder block is connected to the drive shaft. It receives rotational power from the engine and drives the entire piston assembly.
