Travel motor, also known as final drive or travel reducer assembly, is the core power component for the undercarriage travel system of excavators. It adopts an integrated structure consisting of a hydraulic motor and a three-stage planetary gear reducer. Each excavator is equipped with one set on the left and one on the right, which independently drives the single-side track to realize forward movement, backward movement, steering and climbing.
Simple functional division:
Hydraulic motor: Converts hydraulic oil pressure into high-speed rotational power
Planetary reducer (motor redutor): Reduces speed and amplifies torque, outputting low-speed high torque to drive the sprocket and rotate the track
