Description;The travel control lever pedal valve assembly is a pilot hydraulic control device located at the bottom of the cab. Core Functions
• Travel Control (Most Common): Left and right foot pedals correspond to the left and right tracks. Pressing down moves the machine forward or backward, with the travel distance determining the speed.
• Attachments Control: Controls the switches and actions of attachments such as breakers, quick couplers, and hydraulic shears.
• Motion Assistance: On some models, it is used for fine-tuning the boom and stick, or in conjunction with the joystick to perform compound actions.
• Safety Neutral: Automatically returns to the neutral position when not pressed, cutting off control pressure to prevent accidental operation.

Working Principle
• It is a pilot control valve that does not directly drive the motor but only outputs a small pressure signal.
• When not stepped on: It automatically returns to the neutral position, with no pressure output and the machine remains stationary.
• When stepped on: The valve core moves, outputting a hydraulic signal to the main multi-way valve to control the movement of the walking motor.
• When released: The spring automatically resets, and the action stops.

Common Faults

Walking deviation: internal leakage or sticking of one side pedal valve

Pedal not returning: spring broken, spool jammed

Weak walking: insufficient pilot pressure, valve wear

Oil leakage: seal ageing, valve body damage
